Chevalier Charitable Society (CCS) is a Non-Profitable Organization run by the Congregation of the Missionaries of “The Sacred Heart” (MSC) providing help to the needy and enable them to sustain and lead a stable life in the society.
The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSC) is a missionary congregation in the Catholic Church founded in 1854 by Father Jules Chevalier from France. This Congregation has a vision of a new world emerging with the message of God's love and care for all men and women and to evoke a response in every human heart.
In June 1998, Fr Adrian Meaney founded the MSC Mission Office in Australia with the general aim to act as an advocate for the poor and to challenge society to adopt policies which incorporate social justice principles. Taking forward the legacy of its founder to serve with Love and care Chevalier Charitable Society is turning into a beam of hope for the needy in India. The Chevalier Charitable Society was established in India on 8th September 2004 as an independent mission and legally registered under the laws and jurisdiction of India on 16th of July 2005. Since 2005 CCS has been actively involved in serving people and the society to fulfill its mission & Vision which includes Clean water projects, Educational and Medical Assistance.
It is so easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of society, and deal with them head-on. We have set out to aid those who need it most. CCS India is here to help, and we believe that change is possible when we put our hearts and minds into it. To provide a valuable support mechanisms to people living in adverse conditions through Challenging Services to bring a Wholesome change in their lives.

The core of our work lies in the continuous passion and dedication we bring to the range of projects we take part in. Since our launch in 2000, the team at CCS India has worked tirelessly to promote our cause. We are fortunate to have volunteers and staff from all walks of life who bring their unique expertise and resources into everything we do. This is what enables us to achieve our goals year after year.

Providing water tanks, and pumps, and drilling bore wells in villages, schools, and organizations where the people have water scarcity or no supply of clean drinkable water. We provide pure drinking water to those who have access only to contaminated water which is not suitable for human consumption.

CCS finds remedies for water issues in many parts of India. As a remedy, we provide borewells, tanks, pumps, pipes, gutters and water plants. As a result, we see fresh, clean water, pure drinking water, improved health and better sanitation
Through our Capacity Building program, we have the potential to make real and positive change. This is one of our key areas of focus here at CCS India, and a source of much success for our Christian Charity Organization.
